Ideas & Pages
Ideas are the heart of Ideonite. Each idea is its own workspace, and pages are where you write, document, and organize knowledge inside it.
Working with ideas
- Create an idea from the dashboard with New Idea.
- Rename by double-clicking the title — it saves automatically.
- Themed banners let you give each idea a distinct look.
- Every idea contains its own pages, sketches, taskboards, and chat.
Page types
Pages come in several types so you can use the right tool for the job:

The editor
The page editor is a powerful Markdown editor with:
- Live formatting as you type.
- Auto-save — your work persists in the background.
- Keyboard shortcuts for headings, lists, bold, italics, and more.
- AI enhancement — select text and let the AI refine it.
Folders
Keep things tidy with folders:
- Group ideas, pages, and resources into nested folders.
- Navigate with breadcrumbs.
- Cycle-safe structure prevents broken hierarchies.
Knowledge base
Your pages double as a searchable knowledge base. Because the AI assistant can read your pages, anything you document becomes context it can use to help you — answer questions, draft tasks, or summarize.
Attachments
Attach files to any idea or page:
- Drag-and-drop or browse to upload multiple files at once.
- Watch real-time progress bars; cancel mid-upload if needed.
- Image previews are optimized on the fly for fast loading.
- Files are encrypted and served through a secure proxy.
- Duplicate detection warns you before re-uploading the same file.
